Stewart Richey Awarded 30 Acre Capital Expansion Plan Project

When Southern Recycling began their expansion plans, they called a team of reputable regional contractors to the table.  Their 30 acre development included scope for a company to perform as a traditional General Contractor and a Design/Build General Contractor with the added caveat of an extremely aggressive schedule.  Southern Recycling was looking for the best contactor to provide both value and speed to market. After the bids were received and follow up interviews finalized, Southern Recycling chose the Stewart Richey Construction (SRC) team to execute their capital expansion.

SRC’s team worked tirelessly to engineer the best proposal option for Southern Recycling.  Operating often as a self-perform design/build general contractor, SRC evaluates each project to determine which blend of self-perform and subcontract work best benefits their client’s needs. The aggressive schedule led SRC to choose a heavily self-performed option, the only option.  Their ability to control the schedule and collaborate effortlessly yielded the best proposal choice to the Southern Recycling team.

SRC is proud that Southern Recycling has entrusted them to provide “the ultimate customer experience.”
