The Stuff the Bus Foundation of Southern Kentucky: Our Mission is to make sure that every child is able to have the essential school supplies and support needed to walk in on the first day of school on an equal playing field with all the other children. Stuff the Bus hosts events thru the year within the community highlighted in 2018 by the 13th Annual Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive Event. Houchens Industries assisted in collecting over 25 tons in 12 counties. Throughout the year Stuff the Bus does individual events and Supply drives with businesses and organizations. With the power of Houchens Industries, Stuff the Bus was able to have “pop up” events in 7 counties which collected over 8 tons for areas that severely lacked funding and had high needs for help. Stuff the Bus Still stays 100% local and in some way every child will benefit from the supplies the Southern Kentucky community donates.
