Houchens Industries Inc. has a new Crossroads IGA located at 1803 Georgetown Road, Lexington, Ky. The store opened Thursday, May 28th to a small crowd with a short ribbon cutting ceremony.

This is the second Crossroads IGA in Lexington. The first location opened in the spring of 2019 at 2656 Abigail Way, off of Leestown Road.

Crossroads IGA is a unique neighborhood market grocery store offering fresh produce, quality meats, freshly prepared meals and an extensive selection of essential grocery items. By design, Crossroads IGA is smaller than a traditional grocery store to help customers get in and out fast. The new Crossroads IGA at Georgetown Road will also feature a Subway restaurant inside the store.

At the opening, the new store followed the COVID-19 guidelines set by local and state officials. And most everyone wore a mask during the ribbon cutting and visiting inside the new store.
